Not much to report here

July 27th, 2009 at 09:32 pm

Other that I already saved over $500 is an achievemment, I don't have much to talk about. On the newspaper last week, it said that the recession in Canada is officially over. Wow... It only lasts less than a year. I remembered how my Micro teachers keeps telling us that we are going on a long recession. Jobs will still be cut but we are recovering now.

Any exciting things to report... I went to see Russell Peters last Friday at 8 pm. He's famous Canadian comedian and I got the chance to see him in person. The show overall was awesome. If you don't mind him mocking other cultures and his own (He is Indian by the way), then you might like him. Search on Youtube and you will find some of his old materials that are really hilarious.

Here's one:

Money going up!

November 20th, 2008 at 02:26 pm

I received my paycheck today which is 180$ and I'm going to return some stuff tomorrow which I will get 100$ back. Since I've been working less lately, I earn less.

Old amount: 9600$
+ 200$
New amount: 9800$

200$ to go!

I'm keeping 80$ to go eat dinner on Sunday with a friend. I promised to pay for his dinner since he paid for me last time. Hopefully, I will get leftover on this. I bring this much just in case it is expensive.

The restaurant I'm going to go eat is called O Noir. It's a restaurant where we sit in a dark room and we get served by blind servants. There's only one in Canada which is in Montreal.

Here the website:

It is a little expensive but for an experience like this, I don't mind paying a little more for it. Hopefully, it will get my mind off of school and my family (Dad again).

I felt in love with this artist

September 17th, 2008 at 07:57 pm

I randomly stumble into this artist on youtube while listening to my favourite singer Tamia. All I can say is WOW!! She blew me away with her singing.

Her name is Keyshia Cole and she's an awesome singer. I love the aura she projects in her singing. She's also very gorgeous espcially when she has red and blond hair and she sounds like Mary J. Blige.

I was undecided about buying Tamia and Corneille CD albums. Come to think of it, I haven't bought an album for three years already. Last album I bought; Corneille-Parce qu'on vient de loin in 9th grade. After hearing her... I must get her album!! I look up at her latest album at Amazon.ca and it was 14.99$! I looked up at Corneille and Tamia, the price was a little disappointing considering they are old albums... Corneille was 19.99$ and Tamia was 17.99$. Though, the prices were a little better than here and I got eligible for free shipping. My total is 59.79$.

I am so excited!! Can't wait to receive them.

Here are the links to some of her songs:

Just to show how difficult I am in buying an album from an artist, I own only three CD's in my life. Christina Aguilera- stripped album, Corneille - Parce qu'on vient de loin and Frankie J.-The one. I only buy them from artists whom I find are worthy of my money.

Hihihi... Can't wait to have them!! =D

Just clean the closet

August 19th, 2008 at 08:37 pm

Yesterday, I spent the whole day cleaning the closet and I feel great after seeing the result.

If you are tired of your clothes, sometimes taking a day off of your busy schedule once a month to clean it and put your clothes in a different way will help you see your clothes from a different perspective. Well I find.

Here a quick tour of my closet:

Yes, I have a lot of shoes =P

This is where I put my luggage:

Left side:

Right side:
Those colourful things you see here are bags that I've bought from Morocco.

I may buy a lot of shoes and jewelries compare to the average people. Although, I am a strong believer that jewelries, accessories and shoes can make a simple outfit look amazing. I would like to take pictures of my outfits (Yes, I like to dress up =P) and post it here.

Don't worry guys, I am not a shopaholic. I love clothes and I don't really follow the trend. Well I barely follow fashion.

The basic things that tourists and travellers should know is on the post before this one.

Artists that I love part 2!

June 19th, 2008 at 01:42 pm

Welcome to Tina's suggestion part 2!!

This topic will cover all the asian artists I personally love! ^.^

The first artist I would like to present to you guys is Utada Hikaru. She's a popular japanese singer who hasn't been in the media for awhile now but she still comes out with a song here and there. She comes from the United State so you'll notice she speaks perfect English. I love her old and new songs. She always comes out with quality musics. Except her English album which was a huge disappointement in my opinion.

Here are some of her old songs:

Here are some of her recent songs:

Her cover of the English song of Boulevard of the broken dream:

Another of my favourite Japanese singer is Chihiro Onitsuka, she is not too present in the media since the early 2000:

Another Japanese singer is Mika Nakashima, I love her sense of style and how she is always willing to try a new style. Her songs are not all good... Some are even boring because she sings mellow but some of her songs are good :

Her representing a character NaNa in a Japanese movie, she plays a struggling rock singer:

Another one who is pretty recent, she became famous from the movie NaNa where she is the singer of Trapness in the movie:

Here is her singing the song Endless Love from the movie:

Songs comming from her debut album:

One of her recent song:

A Japanese rock/pop group, they are not really popular but I love their songs.

Here are some of my favourite Chinese singer:

Jay Chou, he was really famous for his way of singing the songs until alot of singers start imitating him. Some of his songs have some meaningful meaning and he is kinda weird in his video =P:

This song is about listen to mother (ting mama de hua):

Another great artis is David Tao :

A song about his ex-girlfriend:

Another one is a Cantonese singer, Janice:

The English version of big brother:

There are more but I have to do some cleaning in my house. You guys can look up those artists from their name ^.^!

Hope you guys enjoy it!
